Not Over Yet...

Dr. Sadurski called tonight with the results from my blood work and CT scan. The blood work showed all tumor markers in the normal range, so that was good news. The scan showed one nodule in my abdomen that measured two centimeters. Since the markers were normal, it's not necessarily bad news. We will talk with Dr. Sadurski on Tuesday and should know more by then. I'm not looking forward to lymph node dissection surgery, but we will do what we have to in order to be cancer-free.

Karen's MRI earlier this week showed a degenerated disc in her lower back. They will treat it with medicine for now, but surgery could be in her future at some point. Please pray for us. God is listening, and He is still in control. Pray that we will keep our eyes on Him and not our circumstances.

We praise you, Lord, for the wonderful works you have already done in our lives. You alone are faithful and true. Even though the result was not the one we hoped to hear, we will trust you day by day and follow you wherever you lead. You have brought us this far, and we know you will continue to walk with us, even beyond the end of this journey. You are worthy of our praise!
