It's Been An Exciting Week!

As you can see by the slide show in the corner, chemo is over! It was so awesome to see the love, encouragement and support shown to our family on that last chemo day. We arrived at the hospital very early anticipating that last IV, that last bag of hydration and, finally, that last bag of bleo. Around 10:30 AM on Tuesday, December 9th, although very sleepy from his weekly dose of benedryl, Bryan stepped out of his room and headed straight towards the bell. Emotions were running high for all of us including the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff of the Cancer Center. They all gathered around to join in the celebration. Evidently, it was one of the largest crowds ever for a "bell-ringing." After three very loud rings of the bell, applause filled the hallway, it was an amazing experience for us all. We are so thankful that the Lord has been with Bryan (and the rest of us) every step of the way. WE PRAISE HIM and GIVE HIM ALL THE GLORY FOR THE THINGS HE HAS DONE!

I want to thank all of you that joined Bryan, me, Blair, Blake, Karmen and Kaelynn for this very special occasion: Bonnie, Tom, Ronnie, Vickie, Leroy, Pastor Chuck, Youth Pastor Jeremy, Anson, Nurse Sandy, Dr. Sadurski and the rest of the staff at the Cancer Center. There were also many phone calls from family and friends who have and continue to pray for us daily.

This week, Bryan will have more tests and lab work to make sure the chemo did its job. Please pray for good results. We will update as we get results. We love you all! God Bless!
