We had a great day today. It's nice to be able to sleep in every once in a while. I love not having the smack the alarm clock at least one day a week. Anyway, after some cleaning, Karmen, Papa and I headed to Greenville to find a party dress that she will need for the opening number at the NSHS Pageant in a few weeks. After many, many try-ons, she finally decided on the one she wanted. Very shimmery----very Karmen.
Next stop, Harvestfest at Connie Maxwell. It was a great night for food, fellowship, preaching and a concert. We had a lovely time. The Lakelands Baptist Association does a wonderful job coordinating the event. Many churches within the association provide food for the event so it's lots of people doing lots of things...when it comes together, it is a fantastic event!
