Day Four Done... 56 To Go!

Today has been a good day so far. The Prevacid they prescribed has almost completely taken away the burning sensation in my throat. The potroast lunch at the hospital was delicious, and I probably overdid it a little. The single most painful part of my cancer experience so far, other than the onset, was today when Sandy removed the IV from my right arm. Note to self: preemptively remove any hair from anywhere adhesive tape is likely to be applied. We joked that she was just getting payback for all of the favors we ask of her. Seriously, Sandy takes great care of us and we appreciate everything she does. Tomorrow will be the completion of Week One. We'll be glad to get that one behind us. So far, so good.
