I know that so many wonderful, praying people want to know what's going on in Indiana. We count our blessings daily so, in the last week or so, we've counted an abundance. How can we feel so blessed one may ask? Well, God has shown and continues to show us his love and mercy on a daily basis. From the beginning of Bryan's diagnosis, He has led us every step of the way. We are so blessed that we have family here with us and family back in 96 taking care of our everyday activities with our kids. God has placed and continues to place people in our path that know exactly what to offer at the exact time that it is needed. Not only that but our entire schedule has been orchestrated by God himself. Do you realize that last Wednesday as we traveled to snowy Cincinnati and then to snow covered Indianapolis that, although our flights were delayed, we arrived safely. It wasn't until later that we realized planes were grounded and some flights never left either airport. Only God can pull those kinds of strings. He is truly AMAZING! How great THOU art!
As we take this journey with the Lord, we are at peace that He will see us through. This morning, Bryan was released from the hospital. We are now at the hotel, comfortable and warm. A little tired but none the less comfortable and warm. Bryan was a little under the weather due to some pain medication that he received at 4:30AM this morning but that seemed to have passed...finally. He is a very patient patient. If you know Bryan at all, then you know that he takes everything in stride and completely leans on the Lord. For that, I am truly thankful.
We praise the Lord that the surgery went well, that Bryan is feeling better, and that Blake made it back to 96 with no problems whatsoever. (That thrills a mothers soul.)
We will be here a couple of more days to make sure that Bryan is ready to travel back home. We can't wait to see our kids. They are truly a blessing and we miss them dearly.
Please pray for the pathology results that we will get in the morning and that we will all get back home safely.
God continues to meet us where we are...
In His Love and Service,
Bryan and Karen
