But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength...

Isaiah 40:31 (King James Version)
31But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

We have so many things going on in our lives on a daily basis, some are good and others, well, not so good. But you know, God is with us through it all. He's not only there when we are celebrating the everyday lives of our wonderful family but he is even closer when we receive news of Bryan's cancer or more surgery or when I find out about a degenerating disc in my back. It is so easy sometimes to focus on the "not so good" things but we find hope in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and that is how we endure. We are so fortunate to have such a strong support system in our family and our church. God has and continues to bless us through them all. As we make plans to travel to Indiana for Bryan's second surgery, we know that our family and all of the details, even the smallest of them, are in his hands.
Pray for our safe journey to and from Indiana, please mention by name: Bryan, Blake and myself as well as Bryan's parents, Bonnie, Ronnie and Vickie. Pray for Dr. Foster and the medical team that will be doing the surgery and for Bryan as he goes through the procedure and the recovery. Pray for our children as Blake will be traveling alone to return after the surgery and Blair, Karmen and Kaelynn will have relatives (Papa Leroy and Aunt Kim) staying with them until we return. Also, Papa Tom and Aunt Margie are on call when needed. Sunday School classes have offered suppers when needed while we are away and the list goes on. There has been an outpouring of love and generosity throughout this ordeal and for that, we are truly thankful. We praise His name for the peace he has given us and for renewing our strength.
