Are you ready for some football?

Finally, tonight, our J.V. football team and cheerleaders get to show off their skills from all of the practice time they have put in. Last week, our official first game was scheduled for the J.V. team but threats of a hurricane near our state forced our varsity team to be moved up a night to avoid rain and storms. (J.V. was rescheduled for Oct. 9.) Our J.V. athletes are ready to play ball and our cheerleaders are ready to cheer them on.

So we went to the game and invited the RAIN! It started right at kickoff and didn't let up. It was like standing under a waterfall. Although very messy... pretty cool. The game was suspended right after half-time due to lightening. We floated home in our yacht, I mean, our Durango. It's nice to be at home and out of the rain. We are in the middle of an extreme drought so we thank the Lord for the rain.
